Power Work Complete

The work that PG&E scheduled for today (Friday, August 28, 2026) is complete and all our water company systems appear to be online and working fine. Thanks to all who made an extra effort to conserve water yesterday and today! You can go back to your regular water usage.

It’s not clear who lost power — our house was fine all day. I don’t think the Valle Vista Ranch residents even got a notification (let me know if you did; I’m curious). I’m pretty sure the well at the bottom of the hill had no power while PG&E did their work, since the wires from that pole go straight to that well. When I checked on the well this afternoon, power had been restored there.
